You come to learn a technique. We teach you how to use it.

Most bodywork training ends where it should begin. You learn a sequence. You practice it until you can run it without looking at your notes. You go home with a certificate. Then a real body lies down in front of you, and the sequence doesn't fit.
At Sirichan Thai Healing Center in San Kamphaeng, learning the technique is the starting point of a course, not the whole of it.
Learning the movement is the easy part
Every course here works the same way. You are shown the technique. You practice it. You get corrected while your hands are still on the body, not afterwards from across the room. Then you practice again.
There is a reason for all that repetition. As long as you are thinking about your hand position, your elbow, your weight, you cannot notice anything else. Once the movement becomes second nature, your attention is free for the questions that decide whether a treatment actually helps someone:
- What am I feeling under my hands right now?
- How does this area connect to the one I worked on ten minutes ago?
- How is the body responding to what I am doing?
- Do I hold, change the pressure, shift position, or drop this technique and use another one?
Those questions cannot be memorized. They get answered by the body in front of you, in that moment, and you learn to hear them by working under someone who has been answering them for three decades.
Different courses, the same underlying approach
You can come for one modality or for the whole path:
- Abdominal Massage
- Chantra Face Massage
- Amataros
- Tok Sen
- Herbal Ball Therapy
- the five-week Therapeutic Bodywork Practitioner Program
The content changes from course to course. The method behind it doesn't. Whether you spend a few days on Tok Sen or five weeks in the full practitioner program, you are learning to read the body before you apply anything to it.
Where this comes from
The teaching here grew out of clinical practice, not out of a curriculum. Thirty years of treating people in Thailand, day after day, with the kind of cases that never match the textbook. That is why every treatment at Sirichan begins with the body in front of us rather than a predetermined sequence, and it is why the training is built the same way.
Serious work in a light room
The training days are demanding. High focus, precise correction, a lot of repetition. Nobody gets waved through.
The atmosphere around the work is another matter. Meals are shared. Questions get asked out loud, including the ones you think are too basic. People laugh. You spend time on the table receiving treatment yourself, which teaches you things that practicing never will, and you spend the rest of it with practitioners who care about this work as much as you do.
Who this is for
This suits practitioners who already have their hands on people and have run into the limits of following a routine. If what you want is another certificate for the wall, there are quicker ways to get one. If you want to change how you work, come to Chiang Mai.
