Professional Chantra Face Massage Course

Professional Chantra Face Massage Course

A 5-day course in therapeutic facial massage, entirely through the hands.

Chantra is a professional face massage training for beauticians, facialists, massage therapists and hands-on practitioners who want to offer more than a standard facial massage routine.

No machines. No product protocol. No dependence on cosmetics. The treatment is carried by observation, touch and technique.

Developed through more than 30 years of hands-on clinical practice in Thailand, Chantra teaches you to work with the individual face in front of you, not simply reproduce the same facial movements on every client.

5 days · 30 training hours · Maximum 12 students · 20,000 THB

What Makes Chantra Different

Many facial massage courses teach a familiar set of movements arranged into a treatment sequence. Chantra has a different objective: treat the individual face in front of you.

Before beginning the treatment, you learn to observe. Where is the face holding tension? What do you notice around the jaw, eyes and forehead? What is happening through the neck and shoulders? Are the two sides behaving differently? Where does your attention need to go?

Then you work according to what you find.

Chantra also includes manual techniques that go beyond the repertoire commonly taught in conventional facial massage courses. You work with facial and jaw muscles, soft tissue and connective tissue, areas of tension around the eyes and forehead, neck and shoulders, lymphatic techniques, circulation and fluid movement.

The aim is not to collect unusual movements. It is to have more ways to respond to what the individual client presents.

Pure Handwork

Chantra is entirely manual. There is no machine to operate and no product system you need to buy into. Your hands do the work.

You learn how changes in contact, pressure, direction, positioning, rhythm, duration and choice of technique can change the way you work with an area.

For beauticians and facialists, this means Chantra can become a complete treatment in its own right or bring a deeper hands-on dimension to the work you already offer. The technique belongs to you, not to a product line.

The Treatment Begins Before You Touch

Observation is part of the treatment. You learn to look at the client's face first and begin forming an idea of where your attention may be useful. Then your hands add another layer of information.

As you work, you learn to notice areas that feel more held or resistant, differences between one side and the other, how muscles and soft tissues respond, when pressure needs to change, when an area needs more time, when it is better to move on, when another Chantra technique may be more appropriate.

The treatment develops from that information. Observe. Feel. Respond.

What You Will Learn

Over five days, you learn the complete Chantra Face Massage treatment through demonstration, repetition, supervised practice and personal correction. The course begins with Thai-style towel folding and treatment preparation before moving into facial observation and hands-on work.

Training covers: facial observation, precise fingertip work, facial and jaw work, eyes and forehead, neck and shoulders, soft tissue and connective tissue techniques, lymphatic techniques, pressure and positioning, treatment adaptation, and complete treatment practice: how to bring the individual elements together into a coherent Chantra treatment.

From Sequence to Individual Treatment

You will learn a structure for Chantra. But the purpose of that structure is not to make every treatment identical.

As your hands become familiar with the techniques, your attention can begin moving away from "What movement comes next?" toward "What does this person need here?" Do you stay longer? Change pressure? Work somewhere else? Use another technique?

That is where Chantra becomes more than a facial massage sequence. Different faces require different attention.

What the Client Experiences

Chantra works through the face, jaw, neck and shoulders with the intention of reducing physical holding and bringing greater ease to the area. The aim is less holding, more ease, a softer and more open expression.

It is not about creating a different face. It is about working with the face the client already has.

"The Professional Face Lifting class was an amazing learning experience. I've studied head and face massage at several other Thai schools, and I even teach it at my own school - but I signed up for this course as much to learn from Dr. Nooy as to explore the technique itself."

What You Take Back to Your Practice

At the end of the five days, the goal is for you to be able to carry out a complete Chantra treatment confidently and begin adapting it according to the individual client.

You leave with a complete hands-on facial treatment, a larger repertoire of manual facial techniques, a practical way to observe the face before working, techniques for the face, jaw, neck and shoulders, lymphatic and soft-tissue work, greater sensitivity to tissue response and more confidence adjusting a treatment rather than rigidly following a sequence.

And importantly: a treatment you can perform with your hands alone. No machine investment. No required cosmetic range. No product dependency.

Who This Course Is For

Chantra is designed for practitioners who already have some experience working hands-on with clients. It is particularly suited to beauticians, facialists, massage therapists, spa professionals, bodyworkers and other hands-on practitioners.

Not suitable for complete beginners. Participants should already be comfortable working professionally or semi-professionally with clients.

Small Group Training

The course is limited to 12 participants maximum. That gives you time to practise, be observed and receive individual correction.

You will learn through demonstration, repetition, hands-on practice, personal correction and supervised complete treatments. This is detailed manual work. Small corrections in finger position, pressure, contact or direction can make a significant difference to how a technique feels and how effectively you can perform it.
