For people in Chiang Mai whose complaints keep coming back
When something has bothered you for years, start with a proper look
Back pain, a stiff neck, a belly that never quite settles, a tiredness sleep doesn't fix. Before Dr. Nooy treats anything, she wants to see the body she is working with. She reads it the traditional way, by eye, by hand and by the pulse, and then tells you what she found in plain words.

Why Nooy doesn't start with the massage
Many of the people who come to her have had massages for years. It feels good for a day, and then the back is the same as before. Nooy works the other way round. First she finds out where the problem sits and how your body is holding it. Only then does she decide what to treat, and how often. In Thai traditional medicine, a complaint that keeps returning usually points to something out of balance elsewhere too, so she looks at the whole body and not only the spot that hurts.
Most people who come have already tried a lot
- lower back or neck pain that has been there for months or years
- shoulders that tighten up again a day after every massage
- bloating, a heavy belly, digestion that is never really calm
- feeling drained without a clear reason
- they have seen doctors, physios or chiropractors and are still looking for an answer
If some of this sounds familiar, the assessment is an easy first step. Twenty minutes, and afterwards you know what Nooy sees and what she would do.
What happens in those twenty minutes
Looking
She watches how you stand, move and hold yourself, and looks closely at skin and eyes.
Touch
With her hands she follows the back, belly and limbs and finds where the tension sits.
Iridology
The iris is one of the places Thai traditional medicine reads for signs of how the body is coping.
Pulse reading
The pulse tells her more than a heart rate. It is one of the oldest tools she learned from her grandmother.
At the end she explains what she noticed and what she would suggest. For long-standing complaints that is often a short series of treatments or the 3-Day Thai Body Reset. Sometimes it is a few things you can change at home. You decide afterwards. You don't have to book anything else.
